At the 2026 West Coast Speedbag Gathering, people lined up at R3 Boxing in Poway to put punches on one shared wall for Rock Steady Boxing. First-timers, veterans and kids, one count on the screen, cheering every thousand.
That is the whole idea in one room. Nobody could see a single hit add up on their own. Together, everyone watched it climb.
Four ways to fundraise.
Punch-a-thon
Supporters pledge per 1,000 punches, with a cap they choose. The count shows everyone what their pledge is doing.
$5 per 1,000 punches, up to $50
Race night
A gym runs head-to-head races and team relays. Entry fees and the crowd's donations go to the cause.

For a shared wall, pledge on the group total instead: $1 per 1,000 punches on the Million Punch Wall would have given $44.19.
Donors know their maximum before the first hit, and pay after the event based on the final count. Pledges are coming to the Speedbag Champ app soon. Until then, we'll help you collect them for your event.
