We build the
future of sport.
Smart hardware. Real-time data. Global competition. We design connected training technology that turns any home gym into an arena.
Sports tech
built by athletes.
Athletic Interpretations was founded on a simple idea: the best training tools shouldn't just track — they should compete. We build hardware and software that brings real-time data, global connectivity, and meaningful competition to sports that have never had it.
Every product starts with a deep understanding of a sport and ends with technology that feels natural to the athlete — purpose-built, patented, and designed to last.

“…able to fit a microchip into a speed punching bag to give boxers real-time data about the strength and cadence of their punches.”Ryan Painter — The Signal
Two lanes.
One countdown.
Nobody walks past.
Speed Bag Racing is the sport we built the hardware for. Up to eight connected stations run side by side, first to the number, every rebound counted live on the screen. It works in a garage, in a gym, or on a stage in front of a crowd.
In July it ran for a $10,000 prize at the Race to 300 East Coast Championship in Massachusetts, and CBS News covered it. This is what a connected sport looks like when you give it a scoreboard.

Every sport.
Speed Bag Champ is just the beginning. We're applying the same playbook — smart hardware, real-time data, connected competition — across the sports we love.
Basketball Hoop Champ
Smart sensing meets the driveway. Track shots, compete in real time, and settle the score from anywhere in the world.
Golf Champ
Data-driven golf training with connected competition — a meaningful way to compete across courses and practice setups.
Track & Field Champ
Precision measurement meets global leaderboards. Train solo, compete globally — from the track or your backyard.
The next arena is
the school gym.
In 2025 the Presidential Fitness Test was reestablished and American schools were told to measure fitness again. Most of them have nothing to measure with. A study published this April in the CDC’s journal Preventing Chronic Disease found that 24 states have no fitness testing requirement at all, and only six require results be reported to a state agency.
That is the problem our hardware already solves — turning effort into a number — in a room with forty kids in it. Same formula: smart hardware, real-time data, connected competition. New arena.
For schools →Non-contact by design
One student per station. No opponent, no partner, no impact to the participant. Scored on rhythm, not force — hitting harder makes the count go down, so the scoring itself is the safety control.
It counts while you teach
A teacher with forty students in a forty-minute block cannot stand there and score individuals. The sensor logs every repetition automatically — and collects no student names, no accounts, and no personal data. New: the Counter Edition adds a built-in LED display, so the score shows right at the station — no phones, no tablets, no logins.
It ships with a curriculum
Equipment is a line item. Curriculum is a program. Every station set includes a four-week, twelve-lesson unit mapped to the 2024 SHAPE America standards, with a rubric, a safety memo, and adapted-PE modifications.
“Physical distance will never
keep competitors apart.”
Every product we build replaces the loneliness of solo training with connection, competition, and community — for athletes of every level.
